Happenings, Trends, and Adventure Hooks

• The Halfling Craft Villages along southern Lac Oolam have recently come under attack by humanoids, causing shipments of goods, including wine, ale, and textiles to stop completely. 
• The Wildmen of the Wilderlands have begun pressing southwards into Thalus, causing panic in the northern cities.
• Religious fanatics from the Theocracy have been gaining political power in Ponte Verte and several other cities in Baelara, their ultimate motives can only be guessed at, but Numark is concerned about the possible takeover of Free Land by the God-King.  
• The always unruly Pirates in the Kingdom Of Tides have been more active lately, and rumors of the disappearances of children in several coastal villages has the coastal folk afraid that some of the pirates have begun selling slaves to the Y'tlashi Empire.
